Non Molestation Orders
A Non-Molestation Order is normally issued to prohibit and attempt to prevent an abuser from using violence, threatening behaviour or intimidation against another person. It can also be used to prohibit the threat of these things and to stop harassment or pestering behaviours too. This can also include online activity such as on a social media platform or text messages.
Our team will help you in preparing a Non-Molestation Order and submitting it to the courts. The order will only come into effect when it is served on the recipient, so we will offer you advice and guidance as to what actions you should take in the interim period. We can put you in contact with other organisations and charities that can also support you during this time.
If you have been served with a Non-Molestation Order that you feel is not correct, we can also help you review and contest it using the appropriate channels, and will represent you in court if required.
